This gemstones transparency with all its tiny characteristic inclusions is presented in its best light through the white surrounding surface. It is difficult to say whether it is the polished surface of this pendant or the jewel itself that shines the brightest, but it definitely feels like being in the middle of a lush green oasis.

Tsavorite
Its name can be traced back to the site at which it was first discovered – the Tsavo national park in Southern Kenya. From a mineralogical standpoint, the light to emerald green coloured gemstone belongs to the group known as Grossullar. It is the elements of chromium and vanadium that lend it its special unique green tone. Due the scarce availability and their singular brilliance they are in particularly high demand.
